Nested build

Nested Build is PolyD's online 3D printing service to minimise the production cost of different objects in quantity, size and shape printed simultaneously.

If you offer industrial automation solutions and need to print complex custom parts, you can place multiple parts within a predetermined 3D print volume, with a 380x284 base and variable z-axis height of 380 mm, 190 mm or 125 mm. You can optimise the position of the parts and maximise the entire print volume, because the cost of the NesteD Build is fixed and does not depend on the number of objects contained within. The material available is Nylon PA12, printed in 3 different modes: Nylon PA12 Fast, Nylon PA12 Standard, Nylon PA12 Top Mechanical (for more info visit the Materials )

If you do not have an automatic nesting software (e.g. Materialise Magics, Autodesk Netfabb), you can ask us to do it for you by purchasing the Nesting Service.

Send us your files in STL, Step, STP format. We will optimally position the components and tell you the height and number of NesteD Builds to order. The cost of the nesting service will be refunded on the first purchase of a NesteD Build.
